A Handbook of NGO Governance

The Central and Eastern European Working Group on Nonprofit Governance has been exploring challenges facing nonprofit boards since its founding in 2001. Bringing together experts and practitioners from nine countries, the Working Group looks at governance from the unique viewpoint of nonprofit and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). This handbook presents a set of guidelines promoting a shared regional understanding of good governance while showing how to turn abstract theory into workable practice.
