Report - Federation of Caucasian Associations Meeting with Local Associations to Monitor the Constitutional Process

The Federation of Caucasian Associations (KAFFED) organized local meetings to strengthen their advocacy campaign and monitoring of the inclusion of the demands submitted to the Parliamentary Compromise Commission for New Constitution by Caucasian Communities. KAFFED met with its constituencies with the support of 61 local member CSOs and shared the details of the advocacy campaign via “Constitution Meetings”.

Together we are stronger - report

Women’s Network Bosnia and Herzegovina in partnership with the TACSO BiH project implemented a conference on the process of strategic dialogue „Together we are stronger“ held on 21st and 22nd June 2012 in Sarajevo. This partnership event/conference was attended by 56 participants from 43 women’s organizations coming from 20 different municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Building Capacities of Civil Society Organisations for Effective Media Relations

In June 2013 TACSO organized the workshop “Connecting the Links – Capacities and Relations between CSOs and the Media” in Prishtine. The purpose of the workshop is seen as a first step into connecting the direction of the link. Namely, the intention was to have a meeting with resource people from CSOs in the region and the media that will help provide input so that TACSO can create a strategy or a guideline on CSOs and the media, which can be used in the future.

Participation possibilities of CSOs from the sectors of environment, energy, and transport in the programming and monitoring processes of IPA II funds in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The initial group of Civil Society Organisations (CSO), to establish the BiH SECO ETE mechanism in the process of EU integration, on December 18/19 2014, organised the workshop event called "Participation possibilities of CSOs from the sectors of environment, energy, and transport in the programming and monitoring processes of IPA II funds in Bosnia and Herzegovina", within the framework of TACSO BH project support to initiatives, networks, alliances, platforms, and coalitions of CSOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The workshop gathered more than 40 participants, representatives of CSOs from the entire territory of BiH (Federation of BiH (FBiH), Republic of Srpska, Brcko District) aiming to develop mechanisms of communication and cooperation in the process of IPA II programming and monitoring in the sectors of environment, energy and transport.

Assessment on the State of the Enabling Environment and Capacities of Civil Society against the Guidelines for EU support to Civil Society in Enlargement Region, 20142020 for the period 2018-2019 - Final Report

During the autumn and winter of 2019, EU TACSO 3 conducted a thorough analysis of the state of civil society in the Western Balkans and Turkey (WBT). Through intense consultations with nearly 700 CSOs, public institutions, donors and other stakeholders, the findings of the research have been validated and synthesized in the form of this Report. The project targets the IPA Beneficiaries, i.e. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey. In its third phase, the EU TACSO 3 project particularly focuses on activities in which a regional approach enables a stronger impact on civil society development in each of the IPA beneficiaries.

Sustainability of Professional Journalism in the Media Business Environment of the Western Balkans - National Data Overview for Serbia

Data overview for Serbia regarding research on the economic situation, needs and prospects of independent media outlets in the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia), which was conducted between June and November 2019. The study revolves around an analysis of the structural conditions affecting media ownership, the commercial operating environment and the available sources of funding as well as media consumption habits and audience demand.
